Freddie Mac reports only slight movement in mortgage interest rates. The 30-year fixed rate nudged up to 4.52 percent last week from 4.51 percent, compared to 4.56 percent a year ago; and the 15-year
fixed rate bumped up to 3.66 percent from 3.65 percent a week earlier,
compared with 4.03 percent a year earlier.
The five-year adjustable-rate
mortgage slipped to 3.27 percent from 3.29 percent a week earlier and
from 3.79 percent last year; while one-year ARMs moved up to 2.97
percent from 2.95 percent the prior week but fell from 3.70 percent a
year ago.
