Record Rainfall Causes Franklin Flooding
The one day record for rainfall in Franklin was broken on Saturday with a recorded 12.34 inches. The previous daily maximum was 7.25 inches on May 4, 1979.On Sunday 5.53 inches in rainfall was recorded for a two-day total of 17.87 inches

 Brentwood officials said over the 36-hour period beginning Friday night, over 14 inches of rainfall was measured at Fire Station #2.
In Williamson County, 95 rescues were made and 37 flooding moves. In Brentwood, officials reported 55 rescues during the emergency.
