Searching for Horse Property in Franklin TN – You would think it would be easy to find a home in Franklin with the following criteria
at least 4 bedrooms and an office
at least 5 acres
a barn to store a tractor and enough hay to feed 3 horses
no more that 20 minutes from downtown Franklin (BGA)
newer home or recent remodel with a modern kitchen and living areas
privacy but not too many trees
What we have found was some beautiful homes with not much privacy, or some very private Franklin homes that need to be updated, in some cases a lot of updating. So the buyer has to decide on how they want to compromise. As a realtor, I usually stress that any house can be modified, but the land not so much. If you buy a great home on a poor lot, it’s usually not something you will ever be happy with.
