Compared to Williamson county real estate sales in August of 2007, the residential home closings decreased 32 percent and the median prices for residential homes increased by five percent. Days on the market (DOM) for residential homes increased by 24 days compared to August 2007. Condominium closings increased by 28 percent (11 units). The median prices for condominiums decreased by 2 percent and days on the market also increased by 22 days compared to August 2007.
With the volatility of the Mortgage market hopefully at an end, the real estate market should improve for the remainder of the year.
