1. What kind of support piers does the builder use? They use concrete blocks filled with concrete. doesn’t everyone? According to the potential buyer, one of our competitors uses
wood piers. Now I understand why the one of the pest control vendors was concerned about homes in the area. He told me that some of the homes he had inspected in the area had wood supports touching the ground. He says it’s an invitation for termites. How much money does this really save?
2. Does all of our homes have rounded drywall corners, some call it bullnose? Yes, but I know that that’s not typical.
3. Do all of our homes have aggregate driveways? Yes, but most homes in the area have concrete.
4. Do all of our homes have shower doors? doesn’t everybody? Not according to this gentleman. he says that some of our competition in the same neighborhood has a combo shower and tub in the master bath, but the answer is yes for us.
5. Does all of our homes have 2 car garages with automatic openers. yes, but once again, some of our neighbors seem to be cutting corners and letting the owners buy the garage door openers.
6. Do all of our homes have flat top stoves and built in Microwave ovens? yes,
I’m just surprised that our competition thinks that a few dollars of profit is worth the disappointment that clients will have when they learn what they’ve purchased.
