Franklin Parks - Harlinsdale Farm
A 200 acre Horse Farm in Franklin is being transformed into a city park. The Harlinsdale Farm was purchased 4 years ago for 8 million dollars by the city of Franklin, abd they have been renovating the property to allow for Park use.

THe grounds will include walking paths, a stocked retention pond, and the harpeth river on the border of the property. The access roads will by upgraded and parking spaces added for the increase in traffic, and the buildings all had to be brought up to current safety codes.

The park was added to the National Register of historic places in 2006. The design work for the property took over a year because the designers want the park to be environmentally friendly.
